Terms and Conditions

This document details our Standard Terms and Conditions, if you are unsure or have any questions about any of the items below, please feel free to contact us to discuss these in advance of using our service.

Data Protection

Upon a request from you that we provide services, we will collect personal data about you. We will only collect data that is strictly necessary to perform the services, collect payment or contact you.  Occasionally we may also use your contact details to provide you with information about new services or special offers offered by Pet Jetters Ltd or selected third parties.  If you wish to opt out of such services or offers, please inform us at the time of booking.

To comply with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) 2018 and will take all reasonable measures to ensure your data is kept securely, used appropriately and is not shared with third parties except as required for the purposes outlined above.  If you require details about the information held on our files about you this can be requested.

Photography and Social Media

We may with prior agreement take photographs during consultations and visits. The use of this material is solely for promotional purposes by Pets Jetters Ltd.  If you do not want your pet or yourself to be photographed, then please inform us at the time of booking.

Services and Payments

You can access our pricelist on the website www.petjetters.co.uk and all costs will be discussed throughout the procedure.

A £50 deposit will be taken on booking, and accounts are to be settled in full at the end of the appointment. Alternatively full payment can be made in advance of the appointment. The deposit will be fully refunded upon cancellation of the appointment provided over 48 hours notice is given. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellation with less than 48 hours notice.  Payment can be using a credit/debit card (Switch, Solo, MasterCard, Visa, Delta, American Express), Bank Transfer or cash. An itemised invoice will be emailed to you after the visit.

Complaints Policy

We hope you will never need to complaint about our services as we always strive to offer a quality experience for you and your pet.  If for any reason we fail to meet your expectations on any aspect of our service, please let us know at the time where possible.

Alternatively, should you wish to raise a formal complaint, we ask that this is made in writing and we will investigate your complaint in full.

Missed appointments

Cancellations should be made with at least 24 hours notice or you may still be charged. If we arrive at your property and you or your pet are not there you will loose your deposit.

Liaising with veterinary practices

In provision of your personal details and in accordance with the RCVS code of professional conduct, you provide your consent for us to contact your previous veterinary surgeon to obtain your pets’ medical history.

Your pet’s records will remain the property of Pet Jetters Limited and kept on our secure database. Your details will never be shared with third parties except to send to other veterinary practices if necessary and with your consent.

Safety policy

Please warn us if your pet has shown aggression to strangers before.  We reserve the right to refuse to visit if deemed unsafe.

Limit of Liability

Whilst we do go to great lengths to ensure we are punctual, it is inevitable that at times we will be required to make alterations to the appointment due to traffic, weather conditions, mechanical breakdowns or any other reason beyond our control. Should this happen we would be in touch and aim to rectify the situation as soon as possible.

Our liability in respect of all and any claims, damages or losses (direct or third party) arising in respect of the goods and/or services provided by us or arising in connection with any attendance at any property by one of our vets shall be limited in accordance with our insurance cover. In the event of any uninsured claims, damages or losses our liability shall be limited to the value of the goods and/or services to which the claim, damages or loss relates.

Our Insurance policies are available to view upon request

We do not accept any liability under or in connection with this agreement for indirect and/or consequential losses suffered by the customer including but not limited to any losses arising from cancelling or re-booking travel plans.

It is the exporter’s (owner’s) responsibility to check all requirements of the importing country and transport company (if applicable), and to ensure that these details align with the information we provide on the certificate(s). Pet Jetters Ltd does not accept any liability for instances where the requirements are not met and the pet(s) is/are refused entry.
